Wow, this patch was very painful to download. All that annoying account registeration just to download a text file that gives you links to the patch. Why not just post the links in the website is beyond me.
Anyway, thanks for the patch. Great work, but the typos here and there are pretty embarrassing.

The problem with the patch is due tot he fact you updated the games using the simple 1100 officla patch. As I already wrote in the READ_ME fiel you have to update the game by using the Official Data Disk released by Falcom some years ago and that you can find easily on the web.

Manageed to sort the problem out after half a day digging in and out. What I have done was extracting the English patch and manual patch 3 files (with xdelta3 of course), ignoring checksums mismatched. And it worked eventually
To all people who are having problem with data_1100.? files: Please get YS ORIGIN EXTRA DISC. This patch only work with extra disc patch, not 1100 patch from falcom site. Dont care about XP, Vista or 7. I am playing 1100 version on 7 and it runs flawlessly.

Same Issue here, Installed my 1.0 Version of the game, ran the Official 1.1.0.0 update (which I believe to have been successful, can't really decrypt what the updater says after executing :p) The Game starts fine then, but after I use the English Patch the data files get removed

After moving to my Desktop using windows xp and updating from 1.0.0.0 to 1.1.0.0, got the same issue with data_1100.? files.

Having the same issue as dkong. I tried to put the two files back in the release folder, which allows the game to run, however, the game is still displaying all text in Japanese when using this method to get the game to run.
I am running the game with patch 1.1.0.0 on Windows XP for the record.

Ciao Doppiapunta! Per la traduzione di Ys Oath potrei passarsi la versione Gog.com che dovrebbe essere identica alla versione Steam, così hai modo di vedere che succede. Non ho visto la discussione nel forum quindi ho scritto qui!
E' ufficialmente uscito Ys 7 per pc, se qualcuno trova degli shots o meglio dei filmati, oppure un commento tecnico o recensione, scriva informazioni. grazie!
Ragazzi aprimo una discussione evediamo cosa si può fare. Fino a quando non ho la versione di STEAM non posso dirvi nulla. Dubito che abbiano fatto migliorie, se non cambiare gli eseguibili, cosa che hanno sempre fatto , lasciando di fatto i bug irrisolti ed introducendone altri....vedi la versione di Ys Origin per windows 7 che proprio su windows 7 crasha nel finale.
Doppiapunta è possibile uniformare la traduzione di "Ys the oath in felghana" per la nuova versione uscita su steam ieri 19 Marzo 2012 (versione 1.2.1.0). Ci sono file con nomi diversi e con dimensioni magiori, la patch ita non viene installata correttamente. Per farla funzionare ho dovuto copiare i file della patch ufficiale 1.2.0.3 e poi applicare la traduzione. Però così si perde quello che hanno migliorato in questa versione. Grazie
Pare che XSEED stia approdando su Steam con alcuni titoli Falcom. Certo preferirei non finisse su una piattaforma con DRM e adoro ancora le scatole che fa la Falcom, ma forse una speranza che riprendano a fare giochi per PC c'è.
